Track at Sacred Heart Preparatory School, Atherton

WHEN

Tuesdays, Thursdays & a few Fridays

6pm-7:30pm

START DATE

Block 1: Sept 5th - Sept 28th

Block 2: Oct 3 - Oct 27

Our blocks are strategically designed, programmed, and timed to optimize training throughout the year, for all athletes. At the end of each block, we will have organized time trials where you can display the progress you’ve made, as well as setting new goal targets for the next training block and moving into track season.

September 5 - September 28

Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Two Fridays (September 15th and 29th) –- 6pm-7:30pm

FALL BLOCK 2

October 3 - October 27

Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Three Fridays (every Friday but October 13th) -- 6pm-7:30pm

  • Postdoc at Stanford with Female Athlete Research Team + Genetics Department

  • Assistant Track Coach at Sacred Heart Prep, Speciality Field Events, Sprints, and Relays

  • PhD in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, CSCS, USAW

ASSISTANT COACH

Mo Merritt

  • Sport Performance Specialist at the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee

  • Assistant Basketball Coach and Assistant Track and Field Coach at SHP

  • PhD in Kinesiology and Behavior Change, Former Team USA Handball player, Registered Yoga Instructor, Wellness Coach, and Mental Performance Coach

ASSISTANT COACH

Abby McIntyre

  • Clinical Research Coordinator for the Female Athlete Research Team at Stanford

  • Competitive Runner with Sprint Experience, and recently a Marathon

  • BS in Kinesiology and Exercise Science
